Identifiable businesses include Florence State bank, Lewis & Yost General Merchandise (sign painted on side of building), hardware and department store, and advertisement for “New and Second Hand Store, Tents and Awnings.”

stands in the center of the roundabout at Pathfinder Regional Park near Florence, Colorado. Dedicated in September 2013, the statue was designed by local artist Sheldon Roberts to honor the county’s namesake.
